Who should complete the 2020-2021 FAFSA Application? 

  • For currently enrolled students, if your program is going beyond June 30, 2020, you definitely need to renew your FAFSA Application.
  • For new students who will be starting their program in August 2020, you need to complete your FAFSA Application.

 

How can I get help to complete my FAFSA Application?

I have already completed my 2021 FAFSA Application.  How can I find out the status of my application?

  • To check the status of your FAFSA Application please contact the financial aid office.

 

I have some documents that I need to turn in to the financial aid office.  What is a safe way to submit my documents to the school financial aid office?

  • You can fax your documents to us.  Our fax number is 239-377-9901 OR
  • You can password protect your scanned documents, and then email it to us.

 

How is the financial aid office going to open my password protected documents that I email to them?

  • Once the financial aid office receives your email with your password protected documents attached, we will give you a call so you can provide us with your password.

 

My program of study at itech has now moved to a distance learning format.  Am I still eligible for financial aid?

  • The Immokalee Technical College has been accredited by the Council on Occupational Education to temporarily offer distance learning instruction.  All enrolled students must continue to participate in their distance learning course and follow your instructor’s instructions to remain eligible for financial aid.

 

Am I still responsible to report my attendance and grade to my funding agencies?

  • We ask all currently enrolled students to contact their funding sources for information about reporting grade and attendance.

 

I have multiple funding sources, and I don’t recall all of them.  How do I know who my funding sources are?

  • To get a list of your current funding agencies/sources, please contact both our student services and financial aid departments.

 

My family is now experiencing financial hardship.  How can I get financial assistance?

  • Please contact the financial aid office for more information.

 

Can I still apply for scholarships?

  • Yes, you can apply for scholarships.  Many of them have moved up their deadlines.  On our website, click on our scholarships tab below to apply.

 

How do I get information about my veteran’s educational benefits?

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

All students seeking financial assistance at Immokalee Technical College must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Create an FSA ID

If you and/or your parent (for students requiring parent information on their FAFSA) need a pin to complete your FAFSA online, go to www.fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm.
