Financial Aid is available to eligible students, including veterans. The following sources of educational financial assistance are available to qualified iTECH students:
You may complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid online at ~ www.fafsa.ed.gov ~ before your eligibility can be determined. You may also be required to submit additional documentation such as IRS tax returns, and any other requested documents to iTECH. How to search for scholarships: DO NOT Google "scholarship!" Use TRUSTED sites that do not charge you for a search! Not every scholarship is looking for a 4.0 and astronomical test scores, really! There are many sources of aid available to the students who want to do a little bit of work! Important information concerning the financial aid process for seniors! Money from the Government that helps you pay for college. This does not need to be paid back if you finish your class. If you withdraw from class, you will owe the government the money back. Does not pay 100% any longer. It is a per credit amount reduction in tuition. PLEASE talk to your guidance counselor about the Florida Bright program and go to the website REGULARLY to review your information and the rules/regulations as they change at least yearly, sometimes more frequently! The Florida Financial Aid application is available in December of senior year and MUST be filled out no later than graduation. This form is not only for Florida Bright, but several other aid programs as well.
