DESCRIPTION:
Immokalee High School’s Transition program, students 18-22 with developmental disabilities, receive postsecondary education and career and technical training at Immokalee Technical College. ITECH is extremely committed to the iTransistion program. Our mission is to open as many doors as possible for students to achieve training at the highest levels possible.

FOUR iTECH PROGRAMS SERVING ITRANSITION:
Business Technology
The Accounting Operations course provides the Transition student with self-paced accounting/bookkeeping employment skills. These skills include: keyboarding, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft PowerPoint (MOS Certification).
Culinary Arts
The Culinary Arts program provides practical training in a vocational laboratory setting. This lab consists of a computer lab, conference center and a full service restaurant open to the public.
Construction Technology
Transition students in this program receive hands-on training to prepare for employment in the building construction industry.
