Advisory Board

Our Advisory Board assembles twice a year for our Fall and Spring banquet.  The business advisors meet with the program teachers to spend time in their classrooms and labs for discussion and review of specific programs.

Advisory Boards are very important to iTECH, because members have the career-specific knowledge to make recommendations that will help us prepare our students with up-to-date skills, and with the attitudes and habits required for success in their field.  We appreciate each and every Advisory Board Member for generously sharing their time and expertise to benefit the students of Immokalee Technical Center.

Business Partnerships

All programs have active business partners which go beyond the advisory capacity. We envision businesses and/or associations "adopting" programs to serve as foundations
for curriculum support, financial assistance, and activities that connect school to work such as internships and job shadowing. In addition, partners  are the professional speakers for programs and may also offer permanent job placement for graduates.
